PRODUCT PURPOSE

The SPIN DOWN SIGNAL PLATE is an evolution of the FIXED SIGNAL PLATE This product variant was created for the specific needs of depots with tracks positioned on columns known as inspection pits.

In this application, the signal is mounted in a fixed position as it is used continuously. The requirement remains the same: to prohibit or restrict the passage of rolling stock on a specific section of track.

STRENGTHS AND OPERATION

The SPIN DOWN,SIGNAL PLATE in both the working and idle positions, can be locked using manual locks included in a system of distinct interlocks, thus ensuring better integration into existing flowcharts.

Its placement on columns positions the operator at a lower level than the track’s running surface. Simply rotating the signal from vertical to horizontal would have created an obstacle for personnel passing through the pit; therefore, an automatic rotation has been integrated into the mechanism, from perpendicular to the track (when in the working position) to parallel (when idle).
