Order in the workplace is an essential element. Our experience, gained over decades of interventions in depots equipped with earthing blade switches, has allowed us to observe that the placement of winch operating levers is often left to the ingenuity of the personnel using them.

Sometimes they are left on the ground, other times they are hung on the winch, and in other cases tied with small chains.

From this observation comes our idea: to create a simple-to-install standard capable of ensuring a convenient, organized, and functional position for the lever.

The lever is equipped with an eyelet to which an appropriately sized chain is anchored.

An orange housing that can contain the lever handle is fixed to a winch mounting bolt (normally the one at the bottom right).

The choice of color was also designed to provide greater visibility to the operator who must retrieve and store it.

A simple, modest-sized metal structure
that promotes order in the yard to
streamline the process of opening and
closing earthing blade switches and/or
manual winch disconnectors. Although it may
seem trivial, if this system is adopted
on all depot winches, the assigned personnel
always know where to find and store the lever
and avoid wasting time searching
for the tool necessary for operations.
